Hazard Class 4 Flammable Solids
Red/White Striped Label
Flammable solids in Division 4.1, such as matches and certain
self-reactive substances, require a red and white striped label with a
flame icon at the top and the number 4 at the bottom.
Hazard Class 4 Spontaneously Combustible Solids Red/White
Halved Label
Spontaneously combustible materials in Division 4.2, such as certain
metal powders, require a 1/2 red and 1/2 white label with a flame icon
on the top and the number 4 on the bottom.
Hazard Class 4 Dangerous When Wet Blue Label
Materials which will create flammable gases when in contact with water
are assigned to Division 4.3. They require a blue label with a flame
icon on the top and the number 4 at the bottom.
